Since I was a child I have been attracted to penguins. I was fascinated by their apparent friendliness, the colours of some species and the way they stand up to extreme climates.
As a photographer, now an adult, I have been able to photograph penguins in places like Patagonia, Antarctica, South Africa and the Falkland Islands. I have learnt a lot about them and discovered that some of them live in sub-tropical climates.
Today I want to pay homage to these beautiful birds, which are spread across the southern hemisphere but in decline due to global warming. The king penguin, the chinstrap penguin, the rockhopper penguin and the Magellanic penguin, together with their habitats, are the stars of this exhibition.
