P N T
A few years ago, after reading Plato’s Cave, I began the “P N T” project.
The final canto of the “idea” sums it up, as if it were a utopia, as: “And despite the shadows we will find the light.”
With the passing of time… the images evolved, changing their figurative nature… to abstraction.
The work is a visual fantasy. A fusion of lights and shadows. An intense personal expression…
In this subjective perception, I have reached the conclusion that the viewer, faced with any irreconcilable sign, calls on the archive of evocations they have built up – arising from their nature and idiosyncrasy – to interpret their tiny “reality”.
And the Light finally disappeared… fading away… I do not think I even managed to gently touch it.
